Forever Young BBL is a non-invasive treatment that reduces the appearance of sun damage, redness, post inflammatory pigmentation and provides more youthful looking skin by simulating collagen and elastin.

BBL uses BroadBand light to deliver a more youthful and radiant looking appearance. BBL safely admits light into the skin to help break down the melanocytes that cause uneven pigmentation and helps regenerate new healthier cells.

It varies depending on the severity of pigmentation. Initially you will need 3-6 treatments of Forever Young BBL. After your 3-6 treatments it is recommended to maintain with 3+ treatments per year.

Sciton’s Forever Clear BBL™ treatment uses a combination of blue, yellow, and infra-red light to eliminate bacteria, reduce inflammation, and promote the body’s natural healing process.

The number of Forever Clear treatments you need will depend on the severity of your active acne and scarring. Most patients require a series of 4 to 6 sessions to start, with quarterly or semi-annual visits after that.

Results are dependent on how many treatments are needed for the severity of pigmentation, or acne and acne scarring. Each treatment helps eliminate these issues. Over the course of 4-6 weeks after your treatment you will start seeing improvement in the tone, texture and overall health of the skin.

Results of your BBL treatments are permanent as we are repairing and simulating your skin’s natural collagen and elastin, killing any acne causing bacteria and breaking down melanocytes that cause pigmentation. However, we are also constantly regenerating cell damage due to internal and external factors which is why it is so important to maintain your yearly treatments of 3+ per year to ensure that we are preventing and repairing any cell damage.

BBL has minimal downtime allowing you to return back to Your normal routine in no time. No sun exposure, tanning beds, hot tubs, or saunas for 7-10 days after treatments. It is recommended to keep your body temperature down for at least 24-48 hours after including no strenuous exercise.

HALO is a complete skin revitalization laser treatment. You will see overall improvements in your skin including a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduced pore size, improved skin reflectivity and glow, and significant removal of discoloration. Depending on the patient needs, some practitioners recommend a combination of HALO and BBL® HERO™ for an even more dramatic result.

Most patients require one to two HALO treatments to achieve their goals (depending on intensity). Then, practitioners can help maintain their patients’ results with a maintenance HALO treatment one or two times per year as needed.

Thirty minutes before the treatment your clinician may place a topical anesthetic on your skin to reduce the sensation during the procedure. The area will be measured with motion tracking technology to ensure the area is treated evenly. Your clinician will treat each measured area by uniformly rolling the HALO hand piece over your skin until the system recognizes the treatment is complete.

With a topical anesthetic and integrated cooling technology, patients typically experience very little discomfort. Most patients describe the treatment as a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations, but are generally comfortable. After the treatment, most patients will continue to feel warm for an additional 30 to 60 minutes, or a bit longer with deeper treatment levels.

You will see initial results between two and five days after your HALO treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first two to three weeks. This is followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues to improve for months.

HALO results will last for years to come, but you should continue to keep your skin protected at all times using UV sunscreen to protect your new, healthy skin. Each additional HALO treatment you get will only improve the results, giving you even better looking skin.

Clear V does cause slight discomfort during its treatment of vessels. Clear V has integrated cooling which will improve your experience. There should be no prolonged post treatment discomfort.

The number of Clear V treatments required will depend upon the number of vessels present, the character of the vessels, and your body’s ability to heal. Subsequent treatments are based upon provider recommendations and are usually spaced every 4-6 weeks apart.

Patient responses may vary. Redness and swelling around the treated vessels are usually noted within a few minutes and typically have a “cat scratch” appearance. A sun burn sensation and a slight feeling of soreness are also normal and expected. These reactions tend to subside within 24-48 hours after the treatment.

After 48 hours, the skin over the treated veins will look slightly red, purple, or bruised. Sometimes the veins will be more visible than they were prior to treatment. This is normal. Within the first two to three weeks, the redness and purple color will begin to fade. Each week, the color will become lighter and the veins will become less noticeable.
